It's much simpler than the Adonit Jot Touch, as it's primarily designed for note-taking, which means there's no need to bring up art-related shortcuts or features. You're also able to customize the button's shortcut functionality with Eraser, Undo, Redo, Full Screen, or none of the above. On the Fineline's grip is a small, blue LED light to indicate status, as well as a single button used to link the stylus to your 3rd-generation-or-later iPad (including the iPad mini and mini with Retina Display).
A micro USB port at the top of the stylus allows for charging the Fineline's battery with the included cable. Unlike the aluminum-clad Adobe Ink and Slide combo, the Fineline's part-plastic (grip), part-aluminum (body) construction doesn't look or feel particularly premium, but it doesn't feel cheap, either.
